WBT's Brett Winterble Will Join Speakers at 8th District Patriot Dinner

We are excited to announce another great Guest Speaker for the 8th District Patriots Dinner.... WBT's Brett Winterble!

Join Brett, Congressman Mark Harris and NCGOPChairman Jason Simmons at the annual NC 8th District Republican Party Patriot Dinner on Sept.12, 2026 at the brand new Mint Hill Civic Center. It will be a great evening recognizing our grassroots workers as well as hearing from our candidates and elected officials!

The Brett Winterble Show is heard Monday through Friday from 3-7 pm on News Talk 1110 & 99.3 WBT.

After spending nearly a decade with Rush Limbaugh as a Producer, Brett began his own show in 2008.

Brett has been heard on Sirius XM, plus 980 KFWB in Los Angeles and 760 KFMB in San Diego. A lover of Current Events, Sports, Entertainment, and stories that really matter to the local audience, Brett has high energy and boundless curiosity. He is a graduate of Emerson College and American Military University with degrees in Political Communication and Homeland Security/Intelligence Studies.

Congressman Mark Harris was elected to represent the 8th District in 2024 and has quickly become one of the leading voices of conservatives. Dr. Harris also serves as the lead pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Mooresville.

Chairman Simmons brings a wealth of knowledge having been involved in NC Republican Politics for many years. In 2012 he served as the NC Director for Romney for President campaign, in 2016 was the NC Director for the Trump Presidential campaign, in 2020 he was the Regional Political Director for the Trump Victory campaign. He served as the NCGOP Executive Director and then he was elected NCGOP Chairman when Michael Whatley was tapped to be the RNC Chairman.

We are privileged to welcome painter Matt Hagan. In addition to his studio painting Matt is also a speed painter. He will paint a picture during the dinner (which will be auctioned after he finishes). In June Matt was painting at the Road to Majority Conference in Washington DC, where President Trump was a guest speaker. Matt left 3 prints of one of his paintings of President Trump to autograph, but President Trump liked them so much, he only signed 1 print and took the other 2 back to the White House and asked if he could get the original painting! Matt will paint a new version of that painting (20"x 24") to be raffled at the dinner (only 200 tickets will be sold- you can buy raffle tickets at the link above). You do not need to be present to win. Each painting is unique, but it will look similar to this painting,  Get your tickets today!
